1969年より山に登り始めて以来、多くの人が感動を写真に残すように、現場で絵を描いてきました。1987年に現場で描いた絵を基にした版画で初めて個展を開き、以後毎年のようにシルクスクリーンや絵画の個展を続けています。漆を絵具として使った独特の魅力を有するシルクスクリーンも手がけています。

Since I started climbing mountains in 1969, I have been painting in the field, as so many people do in photography, and in 1987 I had my first solo exhibition of prints based on my field paintings, and since then I have continued to have annual exhibitions of my silkscreen and paintings. I also work in silkscreen, which has a unique appeal, using lacquer(URUSHI) as the paint.
